Park City is truly a world class destination. With 9 skiing resorts within one hour, there is no shortage of excellent skiing. Park City is a short 40 minute drive from the Salt Lake City International Airport, almost exclusively along a well maintained Interstate Highway. Town Pointe is located a short walk away from the Town Lift, which has access to the center of the resort. Skis can be rented and stored at the Town Lift, and several ski shops are located there. On the mountain, enjoy excellent skiing ranging from easy, gentle beginning slopes to steep, powder filled expert terrain, as well as everything in between. Navigating from one part of the mountain to another is straightforward and easy with multiple lifts that connect all areas of the hill.

Stop for a snack or lunch at multiple on-mountain cafes/restaurants, or ski down to the Town Lift for lunch at one of the many excellent restaurants near Town Lift. After lunch, hop on the Town Lift and you are in the middle of the action in no time! Stop at the on-mountain Yurt for a coffee drink or snack, and enjoy the sunny weather on the deck of the Snow Hut restaurant, Summit House restaurant, or at the Mid-Mountain restaurant. After skiing stop at one of the many bars at the resort base or Town Lift base for apres-ski fun!

Deer Valley Resort and The Canyons Resort are located within 15 minutes from Park City. Each has its own flavor, from the luxury and excellent grooming of Deer Valley to the endless terrain available at the Canyons Resort. Less than an hour away are Snowbird Resort, Alta Ski Area, Solitude Resort, and Brighton Ski Area, all with their own flavor and character. About an hour away are Sundance Resort and Snowbasin Ski Area, both unique areas well worth the trip. Powder Mountain, Wolf Mountain and Beaver Mountain are located about 1 1/2 hour from Park City. There is no shortage of skiing near Park City!

Besides skiing, Park City has much to offer. Main Street is a focal point of social activities. On Main Street are found numerous fine restaurants of all types, bars and lounges, shopping, and general people watching. Kimball Junction has a new Upscale shopping mall, and numerous restaurants. Also at Kimball Junction is the Park City Outlet Stores, with over 60 shops to choose from.
A short 20 minute drive from Park City is Gorgoza Park, a recreation area that has several lift-served tubing runs, snowsports, and junior snowmobile rentals for kids. This is a great place for the family.
In the summer, many possibilities exist for fun! There are miles of Bike trails in and around Park CIty, and visitors can take a lift ride with bikes to ride down the mountain. There is much hiking and exploring in the area. Fishing is plentiful. In the summer, there are numerous festivals and outdoor concerts to enjoy, and a real Farmer’s Market. There are many world class golf courses in the area. Summer is a great time to visit Park CIty!
